Last weekend, Zach and I decided to hike Eagle’s Nest in the dark. We’ve been watching the weather for a while, waiting for a clear night, and boy was this one perfect! We’ve done the short 3 km round trip a few times in the daylight, so we were familiar with the terrain and the cliff area. I would definitely not recommend doing a night hike if you haven’t been there before!

This was also an opportunity to work on my astrophotography. I have finally started putting in the time to learn more about astrophotography and night photography, and it was great to finally be able to try out what I’ve learned. I’m so happy with the results, although I know I still have lots to learn!
Incredible photos. That must have been something to experience.
